Suede and Leather Bag Cleaning
🧼 How to Care for Your Suede + Patent Leather Bag
1. Store Properly
-
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, using the provided dust bag.
-
Use a dust bag and fill it with tissue paper to maintain its shape.
2. Clean the Suede
-
Use a soft suede brush to gently remove dirt or dust.
-
For stains, use a suede eraser or a tiny bit of white vinegar on a cloth (dab gently).
-
Never apply water directly — it can leave marks.
3. Clean the Patent Leather
-
Wipe with a soft, damp microfiber cloth to remove smudges or fingerprints.
-
For a deeper shine, use a patent leather cleaner or a dab of petroleum jelly — buff gently.
-
Avoid alcohol-based products, which may dull the shine.
4. Protect
-
Use a suede protector spray only on the suede areas (be careful to mask the patent leather).
-
Keep the bag away from rain or wet surfaces — water can stain suede and leave streaks on patent.
5. Handle with Clean Hands
-
Natural oils and dirt from your hands can transfer more easily onto patent leather.
-
Handle suede parts gently to avoid flattening the texture.
